Welcome to ART ALIVE MAIDENHEAD!
ART ALIVE MAIDENHEAD is run by professional artist Maria Meerstadt. Maria specialises in teaching adults all aspects of multi media painting. The lessons are weekly and run in line with the school terms but you are welcome to join at any stage.
The lessons are suitable for all learners. We all have the ability to paint - and that is what Maria is there to do - find the inner artist in you and encourage you to work in your own style.
All classes run to a curriculum to enable us to cover as many techniques each term as possible, but we are always open to suggestions, or if someone wishes to try something different.
The aim of the class is to have fun, meet people and learn to paint - or improve what you already know.
At the end of each academic year we hold an exhibition and all members of Art Alive are encouraged to join in!

We also aim to introduce people to different materials so they can widen their painting horizons further.
Professional Artist Maria Meerstadt runs the classes on Wednesdays 12 noon until 2.30pm at Cox Green Community Centre. Each term we aim to cover a new medium, and as many techniques as possible. We like to challenge our groups but not take them out of their comfort zones! Please have a look at the ART ALIVE sections for further details.
